I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be an emperor. That’s not my business. I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone - if possible - Jew, Gentile - black man - white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men’s souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost....
The aeroplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men - cries out for universal brotherhood - for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world - millions of despairing men, women, and little children - victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. .....
Soldiers! don’t give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don’t hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don’t fight for slavery! Fight for liberty!
In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.
Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite. Let us fight for a new world - a decent world that will give men a chance to work - that will give youth a future and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfil that promise. They never will!
Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfil that promise! Let us fight to free the world - to do away with national barriers - to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness. Soldiers! in the name of democracy, let us all unite!

Truly a moving speech, of proportions that would make anybody unhappy at the world, and want to FIX it. Would make people rise up once more against their leaders, and lead us into a new era of change, for better or worse. it makes a person wonder: does our government really CARE? Do they truly care for us? Or do they only care for the power?
When I led a corporation in EVE, I considered myself a good leader, a caring leader. I cared for my newbies and older members alike, and I did my best for them. I did my best not to micromanage, and did my best to macromanage, from peaceful mining operations and building of ships and modules and ammunitions, to maritime warfare leadership. I wasn't the best, but I didn't lead them as if I had no heart, or a mechanical heart, no! I led them WITH heart and mind! If a person and I didn't agree, they were free to leave with their earnings, with their ships and without preamble. Come another 15 years, I can see myself getting, actually moving, into government leadership. I would hope that my ideals will lead us, as a nation, as a world, or simply as a State, into a new way of living, to the start of making our way into what we know as EVE Online, we should be able to reach in under 500 years. We could have private and government organizations creating CAPSULEERS and IMMORTALS in under a thousand years, and we could have spacecraft, much less AIRcraft, being controlled by the human mind, being controlled in every single way, by a human mind... to have colonies being created in space that could hold thousands of people! TENS OF THOUSANDS! We could start already, with the materials the Russians ALONE used to create their massive reactor, and the french have one too, and the U.S. was supposed to have one here in Texas... but with the materials that went into those, we could create space stations, far more complex and capable that the 'i-s-s'... Which is a JOKE of a station, much less a colony... Why can't we do BETTER? Let's ROCK THIS UNIVERSE! If there are aliens out there, and I'm fairly sure we're not alone, then BY JOVE LET'S SHOW EM WHAT WE GOT! Let's bring humanity up to their standards and advance! Let's go build colonies on Mars and Luna and Uranus! Yes, the butt of all jokes, we could have a colony on it! And we could go FURTHER, we simply have to push the limits, and bring back more than we use up. If we can mine the asteroid belt, and find rare metals, or metals like titanium in them, composites as well, just imagine the BUSINESS that would be available, and the risky business ventures that could be undertaken to mine them! So much more business, and at the same time, we could create SPACEDOCKS and 'dry docks' for private businesses to create spacecraft! Imagine us creating titanic and colossal vessels that dwarf the largest aircraft carriers by 10 fold! Or even 100 fold! IMAGINE! The 'deathstar' sized vessels would no longer be 'improbable' or 'impossible'! They would be unwieldy, yes, but no longer impossible! That's where our imaginations could take us, if we LET THEM GROW! Instead of 'NASA says' or 'government says' or 'they say' that 'they're no longer sending astronauts to space!' NO! WE CAN STOP RIGHT THERE! RIGHT NOW! We KEEP PUSHING! We MUST become more efficient in our space-to-aircraft! Our engines must become better, our craft better and more! We shouldn't be getting LAX! NO! We KEEP PUSHING!
As Walt Disney was quoted in saying "KEEP MOVING FORWARD!" in the movie MEET THE ROBINSONS! Surely that didn't inspire anyone?!? Does the game and story-series Warhammer 40k not inspire people!? Does StarCraft not!? Let's keep moving FORWARD! To war or to peace, we MUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD! For FREEDOM and for Joy! For sadness and trials! We will see many trials and tribulations, but that... is for ALL ventures. You cannot move forward if you don't feel some loss. Many people will die, yes, but we need to keep moving forward... So let's move forward together, yeah? Let's get past all the current administrations, push straight through the SUCK, and one day, we will all be astronauts should we desire it.... No more street thugging, no more acting the fool, no more failing in schooling, and there will be many who cry out "PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT", and it will be a hard struggle, but we will break past them and move out into space, and bring our children with us, and if they want, the people who went against us, and bring them with us. We can bring hope and a shining future for us all, and yes it will be hard, and it will THOROUGHLY suck at first, but we can push straight through it, together...
